The 2025–26 school year is officially underway for Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) schools! City Springs Elementary/Middle School was the first to kick off the year on August 18, welcoming students back with smiles, hugs, and plenty of first-day jitters and excitement.

Just a week later, on August 25, the remaining five BCP schools— Frederick Elementary, Govans Elementary, Hampstead Hill Academy, Pimlico Elementary/Middle, and Wolfe Street Academy —opened their doors to students. Hallways buzzed with energy as students reconnected with friends, met new teachers, and settled into fresh classrooms.

From morning greetings to first lessons, the first days of school set a positive tone for a year filled with learning, growth, and community.

This school year also marks 30 years of BCP and 20 years as a charter school operator, underscoring the organization’s long-standing commitment to student success. With a wonderful team of teachers and staff, BCP is excited to celebrate these milestones and make this the best year yet for students.
