This fall, Hampstead Hill Academy’s PTO hosted its annual schoolwide fundraiser. Students rose to the challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and plenty of school spirit. To support the PTO’s work, students solicited pledges from friends and family as they committed to 30 minutes of fitness for 14 days in a row, highlighting the importance of daily physical activity for both physical and mental health.

The PTO set an ambitious goal of raising $35,000, and the school community rallied behind it. The biggest incentive tied to meeting the schoolwide goal? A fan-favorite: Principal Hornbeck gets slimed.

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 6, the entire student body gathered in Patterson Park to celebrate their accomplishments and watch the much-anticipated sliming. Cheers echoed across the park as students looked on while teachers carried out the honors and delivered the slime.

It was an unforgettable moment of joy and school spirit for everyone involved.
