The Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) is grateful to all the volunteers who continue to support our students and school communities!

Pimlico’s Trunk or Treat
Our Pimlico Trunk or Treat event, held on October 30, was a huge success thanks to the support of our volunteers. More than 28 individuals registered to help, welcoming families, assisting with activities, and handing out candy. With the threat of rain, we moved the event indoors to the gym. Our volunteers were incredibly flexible, helping make the transition seamless while keeping the event fun for everyone. Thank you to everyone for your time and energy. Your support made this event safe, fun, and memorable for our students and their families.

Coming Up:

Frederick Science Fair & STEM Night – November 24, 4:30–6:30 p.m.
We need volunteers to assist with the Community Dinner from 5:30–6:30 p.m., helping serve food, welcoming families, and keeping the space organized. Volunteers will engage with students and vote in the People’s Choice Award, celebrating students’ creativity and hard work. Additionally, some volunteers will serve as judges.

Interested? please reach out to Community School Coordinator, Justin Brown at justin.brown@wearefrederick.org.

Wolfe Street Academy Holiday Volunteer Opportunity – December 6, 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m
Looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season? BCP is partnering with the Baltimore Family Alliance’s Adopt-a-Family program at Wolfe Street Academy. Volunteers are needed to help organize donated gifts so they are ready for distribution to families on December 7.

Can’t attend in person? You can still help by donating toys, books, clothing, or holiday supplies such as wrapping paper, bows, tape, and name tags to ensure every child has something special this season.

Interested in volunteering or donating? Please reach out to Community School Coordinator, Heidi Weiss-Beedie at hweiss-beedie@elev8baltimore.org.

We have more Volunteer Days of Service events coming in 2026.

Your time, energy, and generosity help make these events welcoming, memorable, and impactful. We deeply appreciate all our volunteers for supporting BCP students and their families.
