Enroll

Our educational model supports your child attending school in his/her neighborhood, so we try to make enrollment simple.

First, click the button above or call the BCP charter school you are interested in attending to see if your address is in the school’s zone. If you are in the school’s zone, you are eligible to enroll. The school administrator will lead you through the rest of the process.

The main numbers at each school are:

  • City Springs Elementary/Middle 410-396-9165
  • Frederick Elementary School 410-396-0830
  • Govans Elementary 410-396-6396
  • Hampstead Hill Academy 410-396-9146
  • Wolfe Street Academy 410-396-9140

If your child is transferring from another Baltimore City Public school, please be prepared to provide the previous school records and any transfer paperwork required by the district. If you are not in the zone, you may be added to a wait list or upcoming lottery, if there are no vacancies at that time.

During the school year, our elementary counselors prepare 5th graders to transition to middle school and our middle schools counselors help your teenager move onto the high school of their choice.

Our students are completing their course, well-prepared for the next step in their educational journey. Many of our 8th graders go on to Baltimore’s best city wide high schools like Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, City College, and Western. Many of them are accepted in the competitive Ingenuity Program and private schools as well.

Enrollment is increasing at most of our schools because our model works.
